THE KLAD TEAM
Robert is the principal of KLAD Envelope Solutions. KLAD was formed in 2017 and is a Canadian sales agency with focus in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. Robert has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked in various sales and management roles with major manufacturers and distributors as well as being a partner in a manufacture sales agency.
Robert is involved in sales at the local level and deals with general contractors, sub-contractors, architects, envelope consultants and distributors.
Robert obtained his MBA at the UBC Sauder School of Business in 2006. His educational background along with his sales and technical experience in the field makes him well quipped to understanding manufacturers’ business needs as well as developing and implementing local strategies to achieve the goals of KLAD and its partners.
Lyrrad is responsible for managing KLAD in Eastern Canada. His primary responsibilities include working with the design community, collaborating with owners and general contractors to get KLAD’s products specified, working with partner contractors to increase installations of KLAD’s products, setting up and training distributors where applicable and identifying market opportunities for KLAD in eastern Canada.
Lyrrad has over 20 years in the construction industry with practical, technical and sales experience. This unique background allows him to quickly understand how various products get installed and how they work as part of the overall project design. Lyrrad has previously worked with BEST Ltd, 3M, and Owen Sound Ledgerock. Some of the major projects he was involved with include Globe and Mail Center, Yonge and Sheppard Center, School of Mechanical Engineering Base Borden, Hotel X Bisha Hotel, Richard Ivey School of Business, UWO New Medical Building, Goldring Student Center (University of Toronto), New Kitchener Public Library.
Jessica is KLAD’s Project Coordinator and Administrator. Jessica’s responsibilities include tracking projects from planning to bidding stage by utilizing the various project tracking and bidding services as well as leads through contractor relationships with KLAD. This a role that she has held at KLAD and Div 7 for the past five years. This along with her experience working for a construction distributor helps her understand the timing and needs of the various parties through the construction cycle. Jessica is also responsible for helping to develop and implement KLAD’s Cirrus Flight Plans marketing campaigns.
